Will my staff or partners find out I’ve hired you?
No. Our investigations are conducted off-site and in complete secrecy using a safe, secure digital workflow. Unless you consent, your colleagues, staff, and partners will never know we’re working on your behalf.
How much does an initial consultation cost?
Consultations with Mr. Hiltz are free, and your privacy is assured. In many cases, Bill can help resolve your concerns over the phone.
Who do you work with?
We work with dentists, dental specialists, and practice owners — as well as the attorneys and accountants who represent them. We welcome inquiries from anyone facing a fraud, embezzlement, or dental-litigation concern.
I suspect embezzlement but I’m not certain. What should I do?
Don’t confront anyone yet — premature action can destroy evidence and tip off a suspect. Contact us first. We’ll discuss your concerns confidentially and, if warranted, begin a discreet, off-site examination.
Can you review Dentrix or Open Dental audit trails?
Yes. Expert review of Dentrix and Open Dental audit logs and metadata is one of our most-requested procedures — surfacing the truth in your practice-management data.
Do you provide expert-witness testimony?
Yes. Bill serves as both a testifying expert witness and a non-testifying consulting expert in dental-litigation matters, including negligence claims, financial disputes, employment conflicts, and partnership disagreements.
Can you help me recover my losses?
We assist with remediation — including claims on employee-dishonesty insurance, settlement negotiations, and civil litigation — and we quantify losses clearly for insurers, counsel, and law enforcement.

Do you work with clients outside my area?
Yes. We serve dentists, specialists, and attorneys across North America. Our secure digital workflow means most engagements are handled remotely — discreetly and efficiently.
How quickly will you respond?
We’ll respond to your message on the same or next business day. The 9-to-5 workday doesn’t exist here — we work on your schedule.
What are your professional fees?
Your initial consultation is free. Interested parties can request a copy of our published fee schedule — just ask when you reach out.
